Unforutunately, we get a choice, you can only pick 2 of the three...
Cheap
Lightweight
Strong (durable)
For instance, most cheap wheels are strong, but not lightweight.
Most
lightweight wheels are strong, but not cheap. Volk's are about
the
cheapest light, strong wheel you will find, but they can easily run
1800
for the set. I know 18x10 and 18x9's for my friends Supra ran $1900
for
the gt-7's. TE-37's are nice looking as well, and a bit
cheaper. But
again, we are talking a decent amount of money. SSR's are quite nice
as
well, but again, a set is looking to be right at 1600 for the
GT-1's...

I have a number of pictures of aftermarket wheels on VR4s... You may want
to
take a look at "The Gatherings" primarily...

Subject: Team3S: Brake kit pictures
This is a new brake kit that a local brake guy is working on for our
cars.
Some of the stats are listed as well... If you want more info on
it
though - please contact Todd, the owner, through the link on the
page. I
think the pricing is around $1,000 for the base kit. He has a rear
kit to
match it as well, but is still gauging interest for that. The brakes
fit
perfectly on a n/a, and still waiting to fit them on a TT. I think
for what
you get the price can't be beat... It's not "big" or "red", but not
everyone
tracks it every weekend and has the $ for the other kits out there.
I'm not in any way affiliated with him or making any money on this...
Just
trying to help expand our market for aftermarket parts.

Note to all - I think the calipers are on the wrong side of the car.
There is an arrow
through the word "Wilwood" and it shows the direction the rotor should be
traveling.
This is CRUCIAL because the different piston sizes (smaller initial piston
and larger
final piston) allows the brake pads to work as a wedge, if you will,
instead of
attacking the larger side of a wedge instead of the thin edge first.
(Todd - Let me
know if I'm seeing this wrong though or if the correct calipers were not
available for
the photo shoot.)
Fortunately, the Wilwood (and Brembo, etc. calipers) have four bleed screws
where two of
them are used as bleed screws and the other two are used for a crossover
tube. This
should be easy to change (just remove all bleed screws and switch
them). I've seen the
best racer in the East Coast Honda Challenge fly off the course while
leading because
his bleed screws were in the wrong orientation and he lost his
brakes. I'd hate to see
that happen to one of the fantastic cars on this list.
Please be aware of that and I hope there is a correction in order for this
before the
kit goes "live."
