Fw: Team3S: Manual boost controller installation
Anthony, I do explain how to install a bleede valve and not a manual
boost
controller ! This is a very important difference. It highly depends on
the
style of the MBC and if it is able to close totally then you can
disconnect
the stock solenoid. If it is a leakign design, leave the stock
solenoid in
place.

I need the bearing the #7 arrow is pointing to, I tried
calling Kormex and explaining which one it
is and the guy said he would need
a part number because he doesn't have any way of looking it up...

Re: Team3S: Intermittent Misfire of cylinder 1-4
I went and purchased Prestone, octane-booster Friday, I was at about
1/3
tank remaining and put in about 40% of the bottle. I then went to
my local
Shell station Saturday and filled up with their 91 octane flavor and
added
the remaining Prestone. I got to talking to the fellow at the
station and
he said, (much to my surprise) that they don't sell much premium
fuel at
that station, he said most people don't want to pay the 1.95 per
gallon
price so they use regular. As the saga goes I took a trip
Saturday 140
miles, and uses about 1/2 the tank. Still getting poor
performance, misfire,
poor acceleration etc. I am letting the tank
empty then filling up with
Amoco/BP 91 octane next to see if that is
any better. My favorite station
probably has water saturated premium
also.

If you talked to Frank at Kormex there should not have been an issue ---
they sell
bearing and seal kits so they know what parts are required. All he
should need to
know is it's the bearing on the end of the intermediate shaft,
which end and whether
it's a 5 speed or 6 speed.
The files listed below at John's Repair Center show the part numbers and
the price
from CRS --- if Frank can't figure it out buy from them.

Eghad, those little spring key thingies are really loaded in there. Please
someone tell me you can order them? I need the ones for the 5th-reverse sleeve.
Didn't see it listed on the CRS price list.
All that I lost were the balls, I
still have the keys and springs, are those replacement balls fairly easy to find
perhaps? HELP!
