more information on slow starting problem
I've never measured the pressure nor monitored it after the pump was shut
off
but I would expect the lines and rails to be full of fuel at all times. I
thought the
book sez to be careful when opening the fuel lines in case they
are under
pressure. I don't know enough about regulators to know if they
release pressure
if there is no input pressure.
The pressure should build as soon as you turn on the key correct ??? Even
if
you don't attempt to start the car the pressure should go up because the
pump
is on.
Any one else with gauges have information contrary to what Jeff says.

steering rack
Hmmm ---- if he's just showing that the steering wheel turns when you
turn
the wheels by hand he's full of sh*# --- if he was moving the wheel a
small
amount and the steering wheel didn't follow then there may be a
problem.

I do not have a fuel pressure gauge on there now, but it may be worth a
shot installing one temporarily to track down the problem.
Your page looks like a great idea, but is there any way I could install a
fuel pressure gauge temporarily without cutting hoses and
stuff like that
?

Power radio antenna
Hi guys-
This problem im sure has turned up numerous times, and
ive seen it on a
few local 3/S cars. My radio antenna went up today. . and
thats it. It got
stuck.
I cleaned it with WD-40 and relubricated it, and
it "kinda" works. It
wont go up or down all the way. . . just almost. I must
push it to go down all
the way. It looks like the top link is stuck, because
once i push that part in
the rest of it goes down by itself. Any
ideas?
I believe this one is my fault. I didn't clean it once
in the 65,000
miles of the cars life. Opps.
