Definitely solder!!! It gives a peace of mind that crimping and crimp caps
just cannot deliver.

I second that you should buy the wiring harness. Just a point of reference,
soldering the connections together is the best way to go from the stereo wiring
harness to the adaptor harness. Then wrap them in electrical tape.

I have a 1993 Stealth ES and upgraded the intake pipe and air filter. I was
wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket mas for our cars?

I have the same problem with my 94 3K N/A. If you figure it out lemme know.
I have just learned to live with it, though my passengers get rather pissed when
I unlock it then it locks before they can lift the handle. They always think I'm
screwing with them, but I'm not.

Keyless Remote cost ?
When I ordered my keyless remote about three weeks ago, I called Bill
Siedles Mits to find out how much to include for the shipping. He asked me how
many remotes I was ordering and I told him two. So he told me to send $58.00.
Well when I received my order on Friday. I only had one remote in the package.
When I called today to find out what had happened and he told me that the charge
is now $45.00. I explained to him that I had talked to someone three weeks ago
and this is the price they quoted me. He asked who I had talked to. But I didn't
get anyone's name when I had called. I did explain that I am a Team3S member and
he still told me that the price had gone up to $45.00. Does this sound right or
am I being taken advantage of here? Oh by the way, programming the remote was
simple and I am excited about other things I can learn to do.
Thanks,

That's what I paid for one from them a couple months ago. The sites
that list them for only $25 need to be updated.

Alarm problem (I think)
Yes, There is a 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment that blew. The
problem was a wire under the dash that was connected into the same
circuit. Its no longer in the car as it was connecting an aftermarket
alarm that was taken out by the previous owner. Now my car runs
again. Thanks for the help.

Count me among those sheep as well! I thought I had tracked the problem
down to a faulty priority unlock switch inside the drivers door, but the
passenger door cannot be unlocked from the outside without this problem
occurring still... Perhaps there were some certain defective parts used in 94?
I've got a 94 Stealth... Does anyone feel like sharing with us some more
expertise in the door lock area? Maybe some part #'s to inspect in our cars or
something?

Speaking of which, does anyone have a spare MAS sitting around? I
accidentally *dinged* up my MAS honeycomb a wee-bit when I was putting on my

Thanks.

OK, what's the half-dollar size round thing in the passenger's side
windshield defroster vent of my 92 VR-4? Is it some kind of a light
sensor? What does it do?

Team3S: sudden loss of stability during hard braking
Hello:
Recently I had to brake hard (~70 down to 10) on a freeway. As I was
pushing the brake pedal harder and harder, all of a sudden, as though having
crossed some threshold, the car became "all over the place" skidding and
weaving. I think I even may have partially entered the lane next to me. Not
pleasant. I guess it felt as though the wheels locked.
Here is some background information. The car is 92 R/T. ABS seems to work
(light is not on), but I couldn't say if ABS engaged or not. Tires are 275/40/17
on 8 inch wheels (yes, probably, too wide). Pressure 40 front, 37 rear. Brakes
done 700 miles ago.
The above event happened on I-5 north just north of Seattle. 2 times as
yet. I noticed long time ago that sometimes the car feels sidewise unstable on a
freeway. I always thought this is because of the rutted road surface and wide
tires. Can it possibly have anything to do with the loss of stability I
described?
Does anybody have any idea why that happened?
Thank you.
Andrei Kryjevski.

Your problem is the wire width, and alignment, it's gotta be... Also have
ball joints and such looked into when getting the alignment looked at....

Re: Team3S: sudden loss of stability during hard braking
Yes, a lot. As the front dives, the alignment changes..if the road is
really wavy, this will cause that.

Good catch on the tire size..I missed that. My favourite thing to
pick on too!
Yes, fatty tires are VERY soft in the sidewalls.
