If you are talking about the fuel pump resistor relay used in the turbo
models, then more information can be found on my web page below. The FP relay
bypass "mod" does absolutely nothing for fuel flow if the resistor and relay
are in good working order (as they were in my 10-year old TT - well the
resistor was very slightly out of spec but not enough to matter).

Detailed diagrams for all circuits in our cars are available in the service
manuals.

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the fuel relay?  Such a
simple and cheap mod seems well worth doing.

Hose em down with liquid wrench and let it soak in. Then hit em with an
impact ratchet or a long cheater bar.

I just removed my down pipe and front pre-cat last night.  They had 10 years
of rust on them.  My first attempt was with a 230 ft-lb impact wrench.  That
failed but at least I didn't strip any bolts.  2nd attempt was after I
soaked the bolts in WD-40 for 15 minutes and tapped on them with a hammer.
Then I used a professional 450 ft-lb impact wrench.  The nuts and bolts came
right out without any problem then.  I also found it much easier to remove
the down pipe with the front pre-cat attached to it and then disconnecting
the front pre-cat after both were removed from the car.  The top nut is much
easier to access off the car.  I would recommend buying new gaskets before
you remove them.  I found the gaskets at Kragen for $2.60 each.

Hello

I have read that the service it important and i cant find any place to
investigate earlier service. Carfax says 10500 miles 1998 and the odometer 4900
miles. The car is ok.

I dont know if the camline(cambelt? on the side of the engine) its new. Its
looks fine. What happens to the engine if it breakes?

Can someone rekomend a place where i can by cheep parts and who sell to Europe.
Transportcost is twice the price for the peace at www.rockauto.com. I have
searced www.stealth316.com. Have talked to the major partsdealer in Sweden and
the dont have this part. They cant order it and Mitsu only sells one to TT.

VR-clutch set is about 500$ (same price in Sweden buy the way)
and a ES is 130$. Transport 200$ from US to Sweden.

If someone from Europe read this. Please send me a mezz.

Hans

Will that work without any problems ? (the old heads will be serviced before

Where can I buy a complete service kit for the 5-speed manual gear box in a
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T twinturbo
(including all service parts, like synchro rings, bearings, gaskets, etc.).

Is the gearbox hard to service ?

The 3000GT have not been imported before 1994 (1993 models) to Europe and
therefore many parts are not available here for the older models. Especially
the 1991 can be from the very first series and they had some differences
reagarding to the 1992-93 first generation cars. Many parts are the same
liek in the 1993, especialyl the gearbox. So just call a local Mitsubishi
dealer and order the parts for a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT TwinTurbo.

The 1999 heads and the 1991 are different but not internally. They have a
cam position sensor but your's have not so it should work without a problem.
The heads available in Europe are all 1993+
