Team3S: 6 pack throttle body
Guys,
I've been dangling the thought of
what to do with $2500 in mods for a
while. I just recently discovered a 6
pack throttle body, from rpw which
claims a 40 to 50%hp increase. I'm still a
little sketchy if its
credible, but it is I'll definitely go for it.

out the above site, the info is there. Please let me know what
your thoughts
are on it.
Thanks,

I had similar symptoms with my '91
VR4. The problem turned out to be a
missing plastic screw in plug from
the throttle body. Look for an 8mm hole
in the top of the throttle
angled slightly forward, big time boost leak. I
ordered a new one from
the Mitsu dealer in Fremont, CA.
Good Luck, Sharyn F.

Re: Team3S: 6 pack throttle body
Haha, 40 - 50% more power ...
LOL
Definitely nothing for our cars ... at least not without an air
filter,
without turbos, without intercoolers ........ If you want to take out
the
engine and put it into a junior funny car then why not.
I'd keep
my hands off until something is available that would fit without
canibalize
the long runners.
40-50% more horsepower, sure : no filter, no MAS, no
bends..........
IMHO, no

Replacing stock BOV with 1G DSM BOV
Greetings folks:
I'm replacing
the stock BOV in my '97 VR4 with a 1G DSM part (+ adapter.) When
I did
the swap, I had to turn the BOV 90 degrees right about the transverse
axis,
in order to hook up all the three hoses. Can anyone else who has done
a
similar swap confirm this? Or have I really screwed up the
swap?
Thanks muchly!
