I'm pretty sure
you can get the carrier bearing seperate from the shaft, but
I don't have my
CAPS software loaded on the computer I'm using so I can't
verify that or give
you a part number. If it is just deterioration of the
rubber ring that
surrounds the bearing to hold it in place, you can repair
it by filling the
rubber piece full of silicone caulking. Some of the
Eclipse/Talon
people do that and it seems to work okay.

That's exactly what it is. :-)

Could someone help me out with the
wiring diagram for the stereo of the

Could someone mail me a
scanned copy.
Is it in the manual.
Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,

RE: Team3S: Drive shaft questions
Mitsubishi part number for the "center
bearing, propeller shaft" is
MB505495. Conicelli Mitsubishi sells them
for $49.56 each. The same part
number works for both bearings (front
and rear).

Yes, possible. I think an aftermarket BOV
should be in the upgrade parh
anyways when larger turbos are going
in.

revor (and anyone else with custom seats):
How
did you mount the seats to the floor? Did you get custom brackets,
if
so from who (Corbeau, Sparco etc), and how are they? Adustable
fore/aft or
not? Do they make the seats too "tall" so you don't fit in
car with a
helmet on?

I got brackets from Corbeau that are 3/S
specific. They're fore/aft
adjustable but the range is a little screwy. I'm
5' 10.5" and I have them
slid all the way forward. If you're short these
seats are not for you. My
wife cant drive my car now! The seats sit about as
high as a stock drivers
seat with it adjusted as high/tall as possible. I
have no problem wearing a
helmet with them.

Jack, you're right about being too tall. That
was my exact problem with the
Corbeau Seats. I had to have custom brackets
made to fit right onto the floor
or my head just hit the roof and roll cage.
BTW, looking forward to finally
meeting you.

wheel's crack (!$#&^*)
I just put new tires on my vehicle, found I
had wheel locks and didn't have
the key. With some good advice and help
from fellow members I run the locks
off with a 12 sided socket (which was
surprisingly easy???) only to find my
wheel is cracked. It's the rear
passenger side wheel. The crack is on the
inside edge and extends
approx. 1" into the wheel. It still holds air but
how concerned should
I be? And does anyone have a stock 17" chrome plated
aluminum wheel,
circa 1994 they would like to sell, or where could I get
one?
As an
aside, I have been meaning to go down to the strip to see what my
vehicle
would do in a ¼ mile but haven't got around to it. Does anyone have
a
good feel for what my vehicle would run (see mods below)? Color
me
curious?
