Can anyone offer any advise on which type of harness to use with my stock
seat.  I've removed the back seat, but I havn't installed a roll bar.  Any
 insight would be much appreciated.

Sabelt has a nice 5pt system..get the 3" webbing as well with the H
crossover.

The quick-release connectors make it 2x as easy to install.

Call I/O port or visit thier www site at http://www.ioportracing.com/

Not sure what you mean by H crossover but some of the groups
don't allow sternum straps ---- I'm not sure why !?!?!?!?

Sternum strapes?

The H harness is for the 5pt kits that go to the back seat mounts.  Keep
shte shoulder straps from going wide behind you..and coming off.

The sternum strap --- I think it's also called the Ernhardt strap --- goes across
the chest to hold the straps in place. In a sever accident the straps hold the
shoulders back but allow the center of the chest, the sternum, to move forward
and tear the cartilage that holds the ribs to the breast bone ---- sounds painful.
I think Ernhardt had it happen a few years back and now most of the NASCAR
guys use it ---- looks like Earnhardt might have some more stuff named after him.

I use a 'Y' strap for the shoulders --- I have a single line attached to my sturdy
Roadrace engineering strut tower bar [ not recommended for the whimpy
Cusco bar ].

Subject: Team3S: Turbo replacement / repair

I just found out that I am going to have to replace/repair both of my
turbos.

I'm looking for the lease expensive option that will still be good quality.

The only option I see right now it Dynamic Racings DR-500 turbos for 1299 a
pair.

Is there a better option ?

Subject: Team3S: Complete Ultimate Tune-up?

Hi everyone, I just bought a 92 RT/TT a couple weeks ago and it will be
on the road in a month.  The engine was rebuilt 15k miles ago and I'm looking
to do a complete tune-up for the car before I take it out for the first time.
I want to change ALL the fluids, clean everything that needs cleaning,
replace everything that needs replacing, and fix anything that may need
fixing.
Does anyone have a recommended tune-up schedule that they can write out
for me or shove me in the right direction?  I'd like to have a list of
everything to do on the car to get it up to perfect condition so I can just
check it off as I got along.  I have pretty good knowledge of the naturally
aspired stealth and am just learning about the turbocharged engines and all
their little features.  I'll be getting a shop manual in the next couple of
weeks and I'll have enough time to take a lot out of the engine compartment
to get to little things that need fixing/replacing.
Also, while we're on the topic of taking engines apart.  I want to
upgrade to larger turbos, put in larger fuel injectors, and upgrade anything
that will be required to put out ~600HP.  All the upgrades will have to wait
a couple of months so I can get enough money, but I'd like to be able to
price everything out and figure out how much I will be spending and when.
Is there a particular order that I should be upgrading?  For example, I
know that I need to upgrade to larger fuel injectors to have larger turbos
and in order to upgrade fuel injectors, I'd need a new ECU, or something
along those lines.
OK, simply put, did someone put together a diary of what they did to
their car, how they did it, and when they did it?
Thanks for any help,
Paul

P.S.  I found a greddy protec something or other under the dash.  This a
boost controller, correct?  It has a knob measured in bars, so I'm guessing
it is, but without driving the car, I don't know how I can test it to see if
it's working.

DNS is moving over this eve, and late tonight onto new IP space.

There may be some 'oddness' in the list for 24hrs as the DNS info
propogates across the Internet..ive tried to minize this with a 1hr
refresh rate on any old records that might be out there..but theres no way
to be sure.

Thanks!

Subject: Team3S: Under hood heat cover

Hi all,

My under hood heat shield foil type cover is starting to embarrass me.
i got a quote of bout 40 bucks from the dealer, but the one they had
it was torn a bit too..

i plan on keeping the hard metal rear turbo heat shield , as that is
still in perfect
condition and working order, but im wondering, is there anyone who has
purchased
the underhood cover cheaper from anywhere else.. im really interested in
a black
carpet like heatshield cover like the bmw's have... those are nice. you
could sleep on those.

anyway, im looking at the JC whitney mag, and they have Insulation for
21.95..  Its quoted as " High
quality heat shield, and sound deadener)... its on the back inside cover
those of you who have the latest
mag...  its 3/8 inch thinck fiber tech padding. laminated to aluminum
reflects 97% of radiated heat. reinforced with fiber glass mesh for
added strenth... fire retardant...

it looks good.. do you think its worth it, or just get a new one from
mitsu?  anyone else have any ideas
on underhood heat shields ?

its possible im going to upgrade from 92 year hood to 99. so id want
something that fits that as well.
