well the engine was the first place I looked at and it doesn't asy anything
about valves, all it says is ESC Multi that it. But I figured that a base
model should have less valves then ES or turbos... Thanks for help!

I've got one and it works great. I wouldn't trade it for any other boost
controller on the market. Ran a 12.65@107.9 with the EVC IV, 91 octane, and just
our "BPU" stuff...
Intake
BOV
Gapped down plugs
EVC IV@14.9psi peak
Gutted Precats
Downpipe (No main cat)
Catback

I was always able to hold 11.7psi to redline in third with the stock turbos.
Usually it'll drop down to 8-10psi...

HALF my play (about .75", which according to the manual is within
spec!!! huh? no way) was my OUTER tie rod ends. They were so shot it's
not even funny. I assume the other half of the play I still have
(which is half as annoying as it used to be, lol) is in the inner tie
rod ends, or just slop in the steering rack or joints. I've peeked
under the dash while turning the wheel, and it didn't seem like
anything within the car had any play in it, so that leaves the rack
and tie rods.

Also, does the correct fuel pump from the supra have a black top with
numbers 195130-1020 with a k6 on the bottom?  I just want to verify it
before I put it in.

Thanks

Dusan
The base model has the single overhead cam [SOHC] and therefore it
has 12 valves, in addition it has a distributor and the oil fill cap is on
the left side of the engine [ standing in front of the car looking at the
engine]. The valve cover has a single hump with the spark plugs at the
base of the valve cover. The distributor is on the right end of the engine
looking from the front.

The ES and TT both have coil packs [3 packs, two wires each] instead
of a distributor and the oil fill is on the right side of the valve cover. They
also have the dual overhead cam [DOHC] engine which has 24 valves.
The valve cover on each bank of cylinders has two humps with the spark
plugs in the middle between the two humps, the plugs are covered by a
black plate and are not visible. The back valve cover is hidden by the
intake plenum and cannot be seen. The coil packs are on the left side
of the engine, looking from the front.

Sam,

I believe you are going to use this for the 3S>? If so, when I got mine, I
went over to the Toyota dealership and asked for the 1994 Twin Turbo stock
Supra Fuel Pump and they handed it to me. It fits in the 3S exactly with no
modifications required. I am currently using it in my GTO.

Has anybody refinished their intake plenum? The finish coating on mine is
peeling off and it looks like crap. I would prefer not to polish it, I love
the way polish looks but I am too lazy to do it in the first place. I am
getting ready to change my plugs and I thought this would be a good time to
fix this uglyness.

The number on the top of mine is the same plus it has a Denso 7T02
along with it. The number on the bottom of mine is K3.

Hello all list members, I checked my horn and that actually did turn out to
be the speaker for the aftermarket alarm. Apparently someone did a pretty bad
job installing it -- it was already on there when I bought the car. Oh well,
I think I'm just gonna buy another aftermarket alarm speaker to replace this
one.

Thank you to everyone that replied to my question!

Hey, Angelena,

Any good detailing shop can repair the bumper, and repaint the area to
match.  I've had it done twice, and you can't tell it from original.  It
costs a bit, but it's far cheaper than a new bumper.  (One estimate
priced a replacement at over $700, without installation or painting).

Best,

Forrest
