I tapped the spray nozzle right in the bend in the Y-pipe right before the
throttle body.  The hard plastic makes drilling easy.  There is a return
pressure line a few inches upstream from the nozzle.  Here are some pics.

Hi folks,

Please excuse the slightly off-topic post here.  However, this may be of
interest to many of you.  I purchased a set of rechromed Vr-4 wheels from
Arrow Tire and Wheel last July.  I just pulled the wheels out to find them
peeling and deteriorating in some areas.

Below is an email I have just sent to Arrow Tire & Wheel.  I am forwarding
it here so that another record of these emails can be obtained.  Also, some
of you on this list have purchased wheels from them, so the happenings here
will be of interest to you.

Regards,
   Dennis

Good luck in your quest for redress.

FWIW, I bought a set of beat-up 17-in. wheels from Arrow last year for $100
each to use as race wheels, and they arrived in exactly the condition that
Arrow described. They said that two were OK and two needed rechroming, and
that's exactly what arrived.

In fact, it was on YOUR advice that I bought from them.

I have been considering sending the two gunky ones back to Arrow for
rechroming, but I think I'll wait and see how they handle your complaint.
Let's hope that Arrow makes good.

I finally got the front head off and took some pics of the pistons and
valves.  I see a lot of carbon buildup but I'm not sure what would be
considered excessive.  Can you guys look at these pics and tell me what you
think?  I'm taking the rear head off tomorrow and I'm predicting that the
middle cylinder in the rear will be worse than these fronts.  I'm still
searching for what would be causing the harsh tapping noise in the engine.
I'm thinking its carbon buildup, but it might also be something like a rod
bearing.  Anyways, the pics are at:

Hey Chris.

Just in my opinion it'll probably cost you more to fix the engine than buy a
new one.  Jesper sells them for 4100 with a 75000 mile warranty.  I know
because I just had to replac my engine.  I had cooland leaking in the engine
and washed the oil off the bearings.  Then I got a bad rod nock.  I hope in
your case it isn't that bad.  I feel for you though whatever the outcome may
be.
