I'm running 550 front, 315 rear on Ground Control's recommendation as the
proper ratings to cure my push.
I can't tell yet if they work well, although I did cut a second or so off
my lap time at the go-kart track with them.

I assume you are going with ground control. I believe I have 550 front and
350 rear. It is noticeable stiffer than stock but it works well at the
track. Talk with Jay. They have a few "street" guys that don't know much
about spring rates. Tell him what you are planning to use the car for... ie.
strictly street... or street with some track... drag racing... etc. He'll
recommend a spring rate for your application.

  Folks,
I need to get the struts replaced on my 92 Stealth.
How many hours is reasonable for labor ? I was thinking
2-3.  I called my Mistu dealer, they quoted me 2.2.
I called my Dodge dealer, they quoted me 5.5.  How can
that be , other than the fact that they are trying to
rip me off on labor ?

Also, if the struts need replacing, are there any other
parts that might need replacing too, bushings or anything
like that ?  Or will that all depend on what the garage
finds when they start the work ?

A local tire place here can get my OEM parts for
$299 each installed.  I told him I can get the parts
for half of that, but then he won't install them.

  Any thoughts/recommnedations ?

  Thanks,
    Al

Folks,
I'm pretty sure that my Idle stepper motor (or
Idle Speed controller, ISC, I have heard it referred
to as both) has gone bad.   Is this an easy
enough procedure for your average do-it-yourselfer ?

Where is it located ?  Near the throttle body ?
Are there any other gaskets I might need to replace
when I replace the idle stepper motor ?

Thanks,
Al

Yes, this went out on my car a long time ago. It is such an easy task that I was able to complete it in about 20 minutes.  The parts I recall came to about $270-something. All the gaskets and things you need for replacement are included with the idle stepper motor box.

Call Talahasse Mitsu, they have it for alot cheaper. The installation is
easy, and i'll be happy to go through the process with you if you email me
privately.

My '91 Twinturbo started stuttering on hard acceleration a few days ago. It
appears to be in high boost situations, but will occur any time I floor the
gas.
Any ideas what would cause this?

Hey, I need someone that I trust to go inspect and possibly act as
a broker for a car interior that I need.
The parts are located in Jersey city NJ.

The person who has the parts doesn't want to ship COD.

Thanks,

Brad

***This is the NEW Team3S list. See message end for more info.***

Hey everyone, once again I'm upgrading turbos to try "something new"

I have a set of IMP headers and turbos to sell.

The turbos are ported, Swain Ceramic coated on the exhaust housing, 10
degree clip.  The compressor wheel is of a Garrett variety.  The compressor
wheels are approximately  10% larger than the 15G turbos.    The inlet is
also enlarged to allow for better air flow.

The headers have a couple of small cracks in them and need to be welded
(aprox 1 hour of welding)

These turbos ran the car to a 11.39 @ 124mph with a  slipping clutch.

I am asking 2200.00 for both turbos and headers.   The turbos have <5,000
miles on them since they were built.  I have always run the turbo timer and
have used synthetic oil after 1,000 miles on the car.

Credit card payment could be arranged.
