According to

there were 14,532 3000GT sales, and 1263 of those were
VR4s.

Walbro pumps are not loud. I installed one on my T/T, however
there is a
catch.
You have to install the pump with a proper rubber vibration
isolatior. If
you have any metal to metal contact, the pump noise will be
transmitted and
amplified through the structure.
In my case, I used a rubber block from an old Chrysler
I think the pressure and volume output of the pump is excellent,
very
impressive considering the package size.

Does anyone know how many Pearl Yellow 94 Dodge Stealth R/T
turbos were made?
I know this may sound like a strange request, but if someone out
there does
know, do you also happen to know how many were produced with the
17"
optional Chrome "Dodge" wheels?
Thanks in advance!

There 7090 total Stealth's produced in 1994. I would approximate
1/3 or less
were TT's. Pearl Yellow was not a color in high demand so assume
a very low
run, and then again reduce the total number for the special order
rims
value. Speaking from a collectability standpoint, you
likely have one of
less than a dozen (if that) and how many of those have survived
is anyone's
guess. However to get top dollar you have to find someone who
likes the
color as much as you...dark colors, red, or white, were the
big sellers, so
the tendency of purchasers was toward that end of the spectrum.

Hi all,
Congratulations to Eric Bowden..
I had tried years ago to ask the Chrysler Customer Service phone
operator about production numbers for the Stealth TT. I was
told they
didn't keep track of how many were sold as the Stealth was
considered an
"import".
Of course, I was also told there were no other complaints about
the
Getrag transmissions.
Be of good cheer

There is a piece on the transmission that converts the speed to a
digital
signal. If you want further proof, you can disconnect the
instrument
cluster, and cruise control will still work.

The HKS is actually a Denso, as is the stock fuel pump.
Denso makes several
models in various flow rates which show up in many cars on the
North
American market (Supra, RX7, VR4 and many, many others).
Some years of the
RX7 (94+ I believe) also make a decent upgrade fuel pump but the
Cosmo or
HKS pump is the top of the heap flow-wise.
I purchased an imported Denso pump that comes stock on the Mazda
Cosmo
(doesn't show up in US Denso catalogs) which is supposedly the
same model as
the HKS pump but without the price tag.

I need anyone that considers themselves "experienced"
about the
internal workings of a manual transmission to E-mail me PRIVATELY
as
soon as it's conveinient. I have a problem and need
to ask some
generic questions so that I don't walk into a tranny shop
sounding like
a complete boob.

Are you sure that's how the cruise control works. I was
under the
impression that cruise control works by the RPM's of the engine,
and holds
it at that RPM. Of course this only works on Manual
Trannies, but I suppose
Automatics do something different... Am I totally out of
line here???

That seems odd.
Esp. on an automatic, engine RPM doesnt equate to a specific
speed. Hit a hill
with an auto, it'll change.
AFAIK, all cruise control modules Ive ever seen of the mechanical
type, are fed
directly off the speedo cable from the transmission, and on the
3/S, that is a
waveform sent from the sensor at the back of the tranny, on the
passenters side,
just around the slave cylinder for the clutch (and a similar area
for the
autos).

It does measure the speed, mostly for the automatic tranny cars,
but the circuitry is the same for sticks.

The cruise control circuitry is keyed off the vehicle speed /
distance
sensor. This sensor is attached to the passenger side of
the transaxle.
Mine popped off shortly after I changed my clutch, I had no
cruise control,
and speedometer until I got home and plugged it back in.
